Aquatica Labrador 1.5"x2" Glass Mosaic Tile 11.75"x11.5" - Slip Stream Collection

The Aquatica Labrador Glass Mosaic Tile brings refined design to high-moisture spaces with 1.5"x2" glass tiles pre-mounted on an 11.75"x11.5" mesh sheet, eliminating the tedious process of individual tile placement. Perfect for kitchen backsplashes, bathroom showers, accent walls, water features, and pools, these Grade 1 glass tiles deliver both aesthetic impact and practical installation efficiency.

• Material & Thickness: Premium Grade 1 glass with 8mm thickness provides durability for wall and countertop applications without excess weight
• Mesh-Mounted Installation: Fiberglass mesh backing holds tiles with consistent spacing pre-set, allowing entire sheets to install as single units rather than managing dozens of individual pieces—reducing alignment errors and installation time
• Individual Tile Size: 1.5"x2" format creates intricate visual texture while the mesh substrate ensures even grout lines and professional appearance
• Frost & Water Resistance: Complete frost resistance handles freeze-thaw cycles for covered outdoor use; impervious surface with less than 0.5% water absorption provides reliable performance in wet environments
• Light-Enhancing Properties: Glass naturally reflects and bounces both natural and artificial light, creating a sense of spaciousness and brightness in kitchens and bathrooms
• Installation Requirements: Requires latex-modified thinset adhesive approved for glass tile and 100% coverage behind mesh backing for optimal bonding and longevity

Unlike traditional small-format tile installation that demands precision piece-by-piece placement, the Labrador's mesh mounting system eliminates guesswork, reduces labor costs, and simplifies work around curved surfaces and architectural details. The frost-resistant, water-impervious construction suits both heated indoor bathrooms and covered outdoor pools, while the reflective glass surface transforms everyday spaces into visually expanded, luminous environments without requiring special sealing or ongoing maintenance beyond standard tile care.
